This article refers to CloudBerry Drive 1.4.3 and later.
CloudBerry Drive provides you with a very convenient way to map your cloud storage accounts as virtual disk drives and use them transparently.
The latest CloudBerry Drive allows you to compress the data sent to the cloud. So, you can save Internet connection bandwidth and cloud storage space.
The option is configured individually for every virtual disk:
- In the Options dialog, select the disk you want and click Edit,
- Click Edit advanced options,
- In the Drive advanced options dialog select Use compression.
From now on, CloudBerry Drive will compress all the data you copy to the virtual disk. Compression is performed on the fly, so you will not face any extra dialogs.
