How to backup MS Exchange data with CloudBerry Backup
To back up your Exchange data, start CloudBerry Backup for MS Exchange application. Click on the “Backup MS Exchange” to start Backup Wizard.
Choose a storage where to your MS Exchange databases will be backed up. It can be any of supported cloud storages, local storage or FTP/SFTP server.
Name your backup plan and click “Next” button.
On the next screen, you will be asked to choose MS Exchange database(s) to back up. Select the proper database(s) from the list and click “Next”.
You can set up Compression and Encryption options. On this screen you can enable backup compression, set up encryption options and specify a password for encryption. Also here you can choose whether to use Server Side Encryption and whether to use Amazon RRS instead of S3 storage.
During the next few steps you will be asked to specify purge options, set up a backup schedule and specify pre/post-backup actions you want. Also, you can set up email notification options. When you are finished with backup plan creation you will see the Summary screen where you can overview your backup plan details. Now your MS Exchange backup plan is ready and your backup will be performed according to the schedule you specified.
