MSP360 solutions for Mac cloud backup and Linux cloud backup have been updated with support for Amazon's latest S3 region and compatibility with the latest Ubuntu release.
Release 2.4.2 is a minor update that brings support for Amazon's latest S3 region — Osaka-Local. Unlike other S3 regions, access to Osaka-Local is limited to Japanese customers and has to be requested from directly Amazon’s sales representatives. Once you have access to the region, MSP360 Backup for macOS & Linux will be able to list, download, and upload files located in the region as well as manage buckets.
Customers asked, and we delivered. MSP360 Backup for Linux has been enhanced to support the newly-released Ubuntu version 18.04.
