CloudBerry Remote Assistant is receiving yet another major update that brings long-awaited file transfer.
File Transfer in CloudBerry Remote Assistant 1.7
The highlight of release 1.7 is unquestionably the long-awaited file transfer. Many of our customers have requested this feature and now it is finally here. Remote Assistant 1.7 features bi-directional fie transfer, meaning that you can initiate file transfer on either computer to provide more powerful interaction between the host and the target computer.
File transfer is primarily aimed at transferring documents, pictures, and installation packages, whereas transferring sizeable media files is not recommended. There are no restrictions as to what file can be transferred, so you can share just about any file necessary.
To initiate a file transfer, click on the file icon on the Remote Assistant's toolbar. Then click Upload Files in the newly appeared file transfer window.
Select the required files and the file transfer will start.
All file transfers can be tracked in the Journal tab:
In our preliminary testing we were able to get some impressive transfer speeds and reliability; hopefully you will too! Check out CloudBerry Remote Assistant 1.7 and share your feedback in the comment section below.
