PITTSBURGH – August 11, 2020 – MSP360™, the leading provider of multi-cloud data backup and disaster recovery (BDR) solutions, has released MSP360™ Managed Remote Desktop, launched MSP University, reported product performance numbers, and invested more in U.S. technical support staff.

New MSP360 Managed Remote Desktop released

MSP360™ has released the new MSP360™ Managed Remote Desktop. Designed to help MSPs provide support to their clients, MSP360™ Managed Remote Desktop provides MSPs with easy-to-use management portal, simple and secure unattended access to customer endpoints, secure deployment and silent installation. The Managed Remote Desktop product also includes the following features: text and voice chat, multi-regional authentication, and an encrypted connection.

In MSP360’s continued commitment to help MSPs during these challenging times, MSP360 Managed Remote Desktop is available for free to MSPs for the next 90 days.

To use the MSP360™ Managed Remote Desktop product, just login to the MSP360™ Managed Backup portal, where it’s available by default to existing MSP360 Managed Backup Service users. If MSPs prefer to use the remote desktop tool’s functionality separately, they can create an account for Managed Remote Desktop only.

Helping MSPs grow and scale through MSP University

MSP University provides MSPs with the business and technical knowledge necessary to take their business to the next level. Easily accessible to customers and non-customers, MSP University is a frequently updated portal of actionable content designed to educate MSPs on common functional areas in business, including marketing, sales, HR, finance, customer service, and industry-specific topics, such as security, storage, and BDR. Interest in MSP360’s product portfolio continues to grow

MSP360’s number of net new customers for MSP360™ MBS grew 48 percent year over year. For the same product and during the same period, active MSPs using grew 22 percent and endpoints protected increased by 11 percent. Throughout the course of its existence, MSP360™ has backed up more than one exabyte of data in total across 500,000 endpoints.

MSP360™ invests more in U.S.-based technical support staff

When MSPs reach out to a channel vendor for technical support, they usually need assistance immediately. To accommodate the continued growth of its MSP customer base, MSP360™ has doubled its U.S.-based technical support staff over the past nine months.
