Amazon Web Services has recently released the functionality that allows easily archive the data from Amazon S3 to
Amazon Glacier low cost storage. The new version of CloudBerry Backup allows taking full advantage of that functionality.
Now users don't need to perform any specific modifications to their existing backup plans and easily move their Amazon
S3 stored data to Amazon Glacier.
The latest version of CloudBerry Backup also allows users to run the restore process in the background. This makes it
easier to restore from Glacier, when the data becomes available after four to five hours. Furthermore the users can
create restore plans and run a restore on schedule.
