CloudBerry Lab Announces Support for Cloud-A

With the Cloud-A and CloudBerry Lab Partnership, Canadian SMBs and MSPs can now Adopt Cloud for Data Storage and Offsite Backups

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Feb. 9, 2015: CloudBerry Lab™, a vendor of backup and management solutions for public cloud storage services, today announced support for a leading Canadian OpenStack Public Cloud provider, Cloud-A.

With this partnership, CloudBerry enables end-users to leverage the full power of Cloud-A’s Bulk Storage powered by OpenStack Swift. CloudBerry Lab’s solutions are built to eliminate issues associated with:

  • Online Data Storage: CloudBerry Explorer allows end-users to access Cloud-A storage accounts for data transfer and management in a fast and efficient manner, while CloudBerry Drive mounts cloud storage as either network or external drives
  • Offsite Backup. CloudBerry Backup allows users to schedule end-points and Windows Server backups to Cloud-A storage. The offering comes complete with scheduling and real-time backup, encryption with a user key, compression, bare metal recovery, SQL Server and Exchange support
  • Data Sync and Share. CloudBerry Box is a secure data synchronization and sharing solution that comes with complete customer control over the cloud storage, offering private cloud compatibility and eliminating the need for third-party services involved in data processing

“Our clients are always looking for new ways to leverage Cloud-A’s infrastructure-as-a-service. It’s important for us to create these relationships with well-established third-party companies like CloudBerry Lab which is leveraging OpenStack technology to meet this demand and add more value for our customers,” said Geoff Sullivan, channel manager at Cloud-A.

“Cloud-A is all about accessibility, scalability and value, while offering unmatched performance and security,” said Aleksey Serkov, CTO at CloudBerry Lab. “We are pleased to support Cloud-A in CloudBerry solutions in order to offer Canadian residents Cloud file management solutions and help even more end-users adopt this leading cloud platform.”
